F.F. Nizam

Mrs. F.F. Nizam - Chairperson of the Board of Governors BSIC Matara

Mrs. Nizam is a Ist class trained specialist, 1st class English Teacher, and a trainer for GREE, TOEFL and IELTS.

She has an overall experience of over 52 years in the field of education and 26 years as instructor in English at the University of Ruhuna and 11 years in 3 different countries.

She is also a Fellow of IELS Examinations.

Mr. Insaf Nizam - Advisor BSIC Matara

Insaf Nizam is the Regional Specialist on Child Labour at International Labour Organization’s South Asia Regional Office in New Delhi.

He started his career in Education and moved on to work in conflict and post conflict programmes joining an international NGO in 1999. He then joined UNICEF in 2003 and worked in Sri Lanka, Sudan, Libya and Syria and then moved to ILO and worked in Jordan leading ILO's Child Labour programme in the country. In September 2016 he was appointed as Senior Technical Officer for crisis and fragile situations at ILO's Headquarters in Geneva.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies and Public Policy, a First Degree in Sociology and a professional diploma in Governance.

Ms. Nihara Thahir - Director Marketing and Higher Education BSIC Matara

Ms Nihara Thahir is currently working as Academic Head of JKH – Education Unit and is the Program Manager at MEASA Institute for Technology

She has over 10 years of teaching experience in both private and government sectors. She is a certified IELTS trainer and examiner. She possesses a BSc Degree in IT and Management and a Bcom in Finance and an MA in Education.

Mr. AMFA Cader

Mr. AMFA Cader

Mr. AMFA Cader is an English Specialist Trained {Maharagama}. He was Former Chief Examiner in English G. C. E. {O/L}. Former English In-service Advisor Galle District. Former Instructor in English University of Ruhuna Faculty of Medicine & Faculty of Engineering. Former Instructor in English College of Technology Galle. Instructor of English, The Open University of Sri Lanka, Galle. Mr AMFA is the first English teacher of Dhal Atoll Education in Maldives.

He has a C special focus on Human Power Resource Management.
